Ikimim was founded in 2003 by Berka Cavusoglu and Teoman Basaran. In a short period of time, the company has completed critically acclaimed projects such as Istanbul Culinary Institute and Faros Hotel.
Since 2010, under sole management of Berka Cavusoglu, the company has carried out the design and construction of more than seventy commercial and residential projects. An important part of these projects have been published in sectoral magazines extensively.
Ikimim, which has chosen simple, functional but noticeable design approach in its projects, worked with meticulous teams and business partners who were selected with years of experience both in material and workmanship. Ikimim has acknowledged the importance of customer experience and offered reliable time and cost estimations in all its projects.
Berka Cavusoglu graduated from Yıldız Technical University Faculty of Architecture in 2000 and continued her master's degree at Mimar Sinan University. From 1996 until the establishment of Ikimim, She worked in architectural offices producing global projects.
